The PiP-AUC score evaluates jointly the citation impact of individual papers, together with the overall productivity (number of papers) produced by an author. For each paper, we calculate its citation percentile against all papers published in the same year. Papers are sorted by decreasing percentile on the y-axis. On the x-axis, we plot the author's publication count percentile compared to peers who started publishing in the same year. The area under this curve captures both impact and quantity of a researcher's work. The score ranges from 0 to 1.
